Gerald Kevin McCannon awarded a CTE Assessment Innovation Award at the Student Learning Symposium
Gerald Kevin McCannon leveraged the pandemic to prompt students to interview their own family members about their experiences while in crisis. Students then pooled these interview observations and analyzed them with qualitative research methods. He plans to use the seminar to develop inclusive teaching tactics, especially for discussion, for his SOC 306 Principles of Social Problems course.
