It's been a great year for the Undergraduate Student Sociology Association (USSA)! We've loved connecting KU undergraduate students with one another and with sociology beyond the classroom. As president, I'm proud of what we put together this year: a graduate student panel that gave undergrads a real look at what continuing on in the department can look like, a movie night that brought everyone together, and a conversation with Dr. Brian Donovan on collective effervescence that had us all talking long after it ended. USSA is all about building community, helping students through their degree, and giving them more ways to connect with sociology at KU.
