Anna Kern is a Ph.D student in Sociology at the University of Kansas. She is interested in the human dimensions of global climate change - from inputs to impacts - and the social environment in which the issue is constructed, attitudes are formed, and systems of mitigation and adaptation are developed. As a National Science Foundation IGERT fellow with the C-CHANGE program a KU, Anna is participating in an interdisciplinary program that brings together students and faculty to study the biological, ecological, and social aspects of climate change.
